That's right DJ is as rough and tuff as the picture looks! He is the Lead Singer/Frontman for the band. He and Bob do a hell of a job with all the Public Relations for the band - 12 ounces at a time!
Name/Nickname: DJ Arnold "Deejer"
History: DJ cut his teeth in the early 80s bangin’ on the bass with Fair Warning. DJ hit the stage singing lead vocals for the Cartoon Sex Clowns in the 90s. For over 10 years, the Sex Clowns delivered shows throughout North Dakota and parts of South Dakota opening for acts like Loverboy, Bachman Turner Overdrive and the Little River Band.
Why do you do it?:To see people leave the show screamin’ “Holy Sh!t – YEAH!” at the top of their lungs!
Sayings: “Girls, make sure you give the drummer some lovin’ too!” “Hooters for lunch?”
Influences: Kiss; David Lee Roth; Bowling for Soup; Twisted Sister; The Three Stooges; Angel; and most importantly: Dennis and Chuckie for helping me walk the line between totally over the top and just being a total screwball.
Most memorable moment: The guy that now has a face that looks like the bottom of a mic stand; Thumper’s helicopter rides; pyro-pontoon; Bobby’s Halloween costumes; the Iron Horse version of “She Hates Me”; Cowbells; ditto Bob; ditto Greg!!!
